For over three decades, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification(IICRC) has certified businesses in the restoration, inspection, and cleaning industries. IICRC looks out for the interests of customers. The organization scrutinizes businesses and encourages them to follow best practices. To qualify for certification, a business must do several things:
- Adhere to the IICRC’s extensive “code of ethics.”
- Have a written customer complaint policy, including documented follow-up.
- Offer continuous training and education for company technicians.
- Have proof of insurance.
